Watch How Easy It Is To Make Motion Path Animation In Powerpoint
Posted by in animalsPowerPoint not only has many built-in animation effects, but also the option to create motion path animations. With such an animation you can move one or more objects on a straight, curved, circular, free form or other path. Use motion path animation in your interactive PowerPoint projects like presentations and e-learning courses to explain, for example, trends and concepts.
Here’s the step-by-step tutorial that illustrates, with screen shots, how to create a motion path animation in PowerPoint. A feature of this tutorial is that it details how to move an object on a path at one of slow, medium and fast speeds, using an interactive slide.

PART II: How to Interactively Set the Speed for a Motion Path Animation?
If you want to let the user choose the speed, for example, Slow, Medium and Fast, for the motion path animation, in one screen, then:
First, you’ve to duplicate the animation slides thrice, one each for the above three speeds.
Second, create three buttons on the master slide labeled, say Slow, Medium and Fast.
Third, create three “dummy” slides and place one each of these above one each of the three animation slides. The “dummy” slides are essential to make the animation work correctly.
Last, link the three buttons, one each to one dummy slide. For example, link the Slow button to the dummy slide just above the animation slide whose speed is set to Slow.
Here’s the step-by-step procedure to enable the user to choose the speed of animation:
1. Click the animation slide in the Slides pane (on the left) and press Ctrl+D twice and duplicate the animation slides. Now you’ve three animation slides: original + two duplicates.
Duplicate the animation slide: press Ctrl+D twice
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
2. Click the first animation slide in the Slides pane. In the design window, click the object you’ve animated and set the speed to Slow (if it’s not already set) in the Speed field, by following Step 9 (Part I) above
Set the animation speed to Slow in the Speed field
Repeat the above step for the second and third animation slides, but set the Speed to Medium and Fast respectively.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
3. Create three dummy slides: Copy the first animation slide in the slide pane by pressing Ctrl+c, position the cursor just above the first animation slide and paste the slide by pressing Ctrl+v. Remove the animation in the first dummy slide: Select the object you’ve assigned an animation to and remove it by clicking Remove in the Custom Animation pane. Repeat the preceding procedure for the second and third animation slide.

11. Test the animation: Press F5 to run the slide show. Click each of the three buttons to test that the object moves at the set speed.
NOTE: With the above settings when you press F5 to run the slide show, the Slow animation runs by itself. If you want PowerPoint to pause for the user to click one of the three buttons to run an animation:
Copy the first slide, by pressing Ctrl+c. Click on a space above the first slide in the Slides pane and insert the slide, by pressing Ctrl+v.
Right-click the new slide, and from the context-sensitive menu select Slide Transition.
Check the On mouse click checkbox (if not already checked) in the Advance Slide frame

My favorite animal is any big cat. I love cats…I have 4 cats and a ferrett.
well i love cats and dogs but im not able to have one since i live in an apt. sometimes people just arent so fortunate. My next favorite animals are reptiles. i love snakes and turtles, lizards. Im also an aquarist. I also have 2 hamsters.
I am crazy about cats. I have two of my own but have been fostering cats & kittens since 2000. I foster them for a local no-kill haven for abandoned cats until they are 8 wks old. Then they are neutered/spayed & go to PetSmart for adoption. That way I can have lots of cats/kittens w/o the expense since the haven pays all vet & food expenses.
My favorite pet animal is a ferret. I currently have two, but up until a week ago I had three. My old girl passed away at 10 years old. I also have a cat, two rabbits and a degu. I will probably be adding another ferret to my home when the time is right.
All animals are my favorite, actually, I love them all, If I were rich I would have a farm with acres of land to adopt what I can. I have right now , a Dog, a Cat and 4 birds and I love them all the same because of their different personalities.
They are just like my children.
